A Legacy Forged Before Independence
Kaycee Industries Ltd. is a pre-independence incorporated company with a proud legacy of over 84 years, and is today a subsidiary of Salzer Electronics Ltd. Headquartered in Mumbai, Kaycee is a leading manufacturer of electrical products and customised switching solutions.
Established in 1942, Kaycee is recognised as the first Indian manufacturer of Rotary Switches. Over the decades, the company has built an enduring reputation for quality, reliability and continuous innovation, delivering products that meet the evolving needs of industry.
From our manufacturing facility in Ambernath, Thane, a highly skilled and motivated workforce brings indigenously designed, research-driven electrical equipment to customers across the country.

- 1942Incorporated in Mumbai before Independence — and recognised as the first Indian manufacturer of Rotary Switches. 1950s – 70s | Range grows to cam switches, toggle & micro switches, limit switches, counters and hour meters for the nation’s expanding industry. 1980s – 2000s | Manufacturing consolidated at Ambernath, Thane; indigenous, research-driven designs serve power, railways, defence and panel builders.
